Confident Beginner - Miro Top // Tuesdays 6pm-9pm October & November

Join us for a 3 week workshop and learn to make your own Miro Top by Sue-Ching Lascelles!

The Miro Top has a relaxed silhouette with grown-on sleeves finished with cuffs. The front ties can be crossed and tied at the back or tied loosely at the front, giving you different ways to wear it. Designed for light to medium weight fabrics.

In this class, you will learn how to take your measurements, read a pattern, and cut and sew your own garment. You will leave with a new top and the confidence to make your own clothing! 

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

You will need to know how to set up and thread your own machine, wind a bobbin and sew basic stitches. (If you are a complete beginner and have never used a machine before, check out our sewing 101 class first!). 

Tools included:

The pattern is included and will be printed for you before class. You will also receive a digital copy of the pattern file so that you can make it again whenever you'd like! You can bring your own machine, or you are welcome to use one of ours. 

What you need to bring:

You will need to purchase your own fabric and thread prior to class. We recommend pre-washing your fabric, so make sure you buy in advance to give yourself plenty of time to do so. Come by the store, and we will help you pick something out!

Must be 16+ to participate

Classes require a minimum of 3 students to run. If a class does not meet this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the session. In the event of a cancellation, all registered participants will receive a full refund to their original payment method.

Classes and workshops are non-refundable. In the case that the class has a waitlist, we will issue a refund if we are able to fill your spot but there is no guarantee.
